Activity One: Character Analysis Assessment Task
There are two assessment tasks to be completed on the novel ‘Onion Tears’. Please read the information on both tasks below
Complete a character analysis on the character of your choice from the novel. Some possibilities include Nam Huong, Chu Minh, Aunty, Miss Lily, Mr Newton, Mary or another character of your choice.

Activity Two: Letter to the Author Assessment Task
Write a letter to the author outlining your opinion of the novel. Please see your teacher for a copy of the assignment sheet. If you are having trouble writing your letter, you may choose to access the online letter generator, from the link below:
